'Jesus says' series

Harmony of the signs of the times (1)
Mat.24/1-8 - in normal text,
Mk 13/2-8 (in round brackets)
and Luke 21/6-11 [in square brackets]

1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings.
2 ‘Do you see all these things?’ he asked. “I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another: everyone will be thrown down”
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives,
(opposite the temple),
the disciples,
(Peter, James, John and Andrew),
came to him privately.
["Teacher"],
tell us, they said, "when will this happen,
[And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?]"
and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
4 Jesus answered:
"WATCH OUT THAT NO ONE DECEIVES YOU.
5 For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,'
[and, 'The time is near.']
and will deceive many.
[Do not follow them.]
6 You will hear of wars and rumours of wars ,
[and revolutions,]
BUT SEE TO IT THAT YOU ARE NOT ALARMED.
Such things must happen, but the end
[will not come right away,]
is still to come.
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and
[great earthquakes]
[and pestilences]
in various places
8 All these are the beginning of birth pain –
[and fearful events (‘terrors’ KJV) and great signs from heaven.]

Feedback

Feedback from Samuel R., Western Uganda - Greetings from Fort Portal (Western Uganda).

I am glad to inform you that the new centre of Bundibugyo has successfully started …
For the first time, I have witnessed pastors repenting…
Evidently for many years, they told me, they have served God in vain, due to the fact that they have not understood the Scriptures very well.
The Word of God is truly a sharp sword.
The Pursuit of Humility course has really changed the hearts of men and women pastors in Bundibugyo.
